What goes into a quote
The six factors above aren’t surcharges added to a base rate. They’re what the recurring price is built from: the size of the lawn and property, weekly or every-two-week service, how easy the mowing areas are to reach, the lawn’s current condition, unusual obstacles, and any overgrowth before service starts.
We look at them together, because they affect each other. A large lawn with clear access and a small one behind a narrow gate aren’t compared on size alone. That’s also why we don’t publish a pricing formula.
Why a few photographs help
The quote form tells us where you are and which service you want. Photos show us the work itself: how much lawn there is, what the access looks like, where the gates are, and any obstacles on the property.

What your recurring price covers
One routine visit: mowing, edging, string trimming around obstacles, and clearing clippings from ordinary hard surfaces. That is the whole scope and it is the same every visit.

Work outside the routine scope
Work outside the routine mowing scope is quoted separately and agreed before it is added. Nothing chargeable appears on a visit you have not agreed to.
In practice that covers a first-time or badly overgrown reset cut, which is quoted before recurring service starts, along with storm debris, large limbs and unusual leaf volume. Ordinary seasonal leaf fall is part of normal cleanup and is not extra.
When you commit
Sending a request doesn’t approve any paid work. We review the property and the schedule you asked for first, and service begins only after you agree to the quote.
Asking costs nothing and commits you to nothing. If the property turns out to differ materially from what was described, the quote is revised before service starts rather than adjusted afterwards.
What happens to the price later
The recurring rate is based on the property and the routine scope that were quoted. If the property or the requested work changes materially, any change to scope or pricing is discussed before it is applied rather than appearing on an invoice.
The terms set out the basis on which service is provided, and the specific terms that apply to your account, including your recurring price and how to pause or end service, are confirmed in writing when your service begins.

Does my price change between visits?
Your recurring price covers a routine visit. Work outside that scope is quoted separately and never added without your agreement.
How long does a quote take?

Am I committing to anything by asking?

Can I change my service frequency later?
The frequency you choose at setup is your starting schedule. If your needs change, let us know and we’ll confirm what’s available on your route.
What if my lawn is overgrown before the first visit?
Mention it when you ask. A lawn that is well past normal height takes more work than a routine mow, so we quote a separate reset cut before recurring service begins.
What happens if it rains on my service day?
The visit is rescheduled rather than dropped, and once it is completed your property returns to its normal recurring day. The weather policy has the full detail.
