Katy and surrounding West Houston
We’re starting close to home on purpose. Tight routes make it possible to keep a recurring schedule.
Our current service area
Blade Meets Grass serves Katy and the surrounding West Houston communities within reach of our routes.
We don’t claim coverage across all of Greater Houston. Recurring service only works when the routes are tight enough to keep, so the area grows deliberately rather than all at once.
If we can’t serve you well yet, we’ll tell you.
Enter your address in the quote form and we’ll confirm either way.Areas we serve

Our home service area and the base for our recurring routes.

A small area keeps your service day reliable
A recurring schedule only works if the route works. A route that sprawls across Greater Houston spends the day driving, and the first thing to slip is your service day.
Staying close to home lets us build your schedule around a preferred weekday, and it means we can give you a clear yes or no when you ask whether we cover your street. The about page has more on how we’re building the business.
How we decide what is within reach
It isn’t a radius drawn on a map. A street a little farther out can be easy to serve if it’s near a road our route already uses, and a closer one can be awkward if it isn’t.
That’s why we confirm availability by address instead of publishing a list of neighborhoods.
If we cannot serve you yet, we will say so
We would rather tell you now than put you on a schedule we cannot keep. Being told no today is better than being dropped in August.
The area changes as routes fill in, so it can be worth asking again later. We can’t say when, so we won’t give you a date we can’t keep.
The area grows street by street
It grows where we already have customers. Each address makes nearby streets easier to serve, so coverage spreads gradually instead of jumping to a new part of the city.
That’s why we don’t advertise suburbs we haven’t worked in.
What a routine visit includes, wherever you are
A routine visit is the same wherever it happens: mowing, edging, string trimming around obstacles, and clearing clippings from ordinary hard surfaces. That is what your recurring price covers. There is more on how quoting works on the pricing page, and on the service itself on the lawn mowing page.
Work outside that scope, such as a reset cut on an overgrown lawn or storm debris, is quoted separately before it is done and never added without your agreement.
Your chosen weekday is a preferred recurring day rather than a fixed appointment, and if weather moves a visit, we let you know. The weather policy explains how that works. Katy is our home area and has its own page: recurring lawn mowing in Katy, TX.
