How service actually runs
The practical details, written plainly, so nothing about a visit comes as a surprise.
Property access
We can only service what we can reach. Before your first visit we confirm how we get to each serviced area, including gates, codes and side-yard routes, and that stays on your property record.
Gates
If a gate is locked and there’s no way in, the back area can’t be mowed on that visit. Leaving a code on file or unlocking on your service day avoids it entirely. If access is a problem on the day, we’ll let you know rather than leaving you to notice later.
Pets
Please keep pets indoors or secured away from the serviced area on your service day, both for their safety and so the crew can work properly. Tell us about pets in your property notes. If an animal is loose in the work area we won’t force the issue.
Obstacles on the lawn
Toys, hoses, furniture, pet waste and similar items slow a visit and can be damaged or damage equipment. Clearing the lawn beforehand helps us do a better job.
Debris
Ordinary seasonal leaf fall is part of normal cleanup. Storm debris, large limbs and unusual volumes fall outside a routine visit and are quoted separately before we do the work.
Overgrown lawns
A lawn well past normal maintenance height is a different job from routine mowing, so it’s quoted as a one-off reset cut before recurring service begins.
Weather and scheduling
Your chosen weekday is a preferred recurring service day rather than a fixed appointment. The full detail is on the weather policy page.
Communication
You’ll hear from us when your schedule shifts, when a visit couldn’t be completed, and when something about your property needs attention.
If something isn’t right
If a visit doesn’t meet the standard above, tell us and we’ll put it right. We’d far rather hear about it than have you quietly decide we’re not worth keeping.
Terms covering billing, pausing and cancellation are provided when you approve your quote and start service.
